Prefolds may seem a little daunting at first but once you've done it once, you'll see how easy it is. Below are three folds that are quick and easy.
a. Fold in three and lie inside the cover. This is the easiest and quickest way to use a prefold.
2. The Angel fold:
a. Lie the inside so that the short side is closest to your body.
b. Fold the outside panels in.
c. Open the panels at the top.
D. Lie your baby feet closest to your body.
D. Pull the front part up through the legs towards the belly button.
E. Snappy together and then add a cover.
3. Jelly Roll:
a. Start with your prefold open:
b. Roll the corners of the prefold towards the centre:
c. The goal is to create a nice gusset like pocket to catch runny poos. This is the most useful fold to use on a newborn as the pocket catches all the mess.
d. Pull the prefold between the legs and snappi.
Note: You must always add a cover as snappies can come loose and hurt your baby.
